Caughnawana Annual General Meeting

Please join us for the AGM on Thursday, April 24 at The Franklin Club located at 72 Franklin Rd, Mount Albert. The meeting starts at 4pm with dinner following the meeting. Please let us know if you plan to attend the and whether you will be staying for dinner. If you are staying for dinner, please let us know if you would like Beef or Fish/Bird. The 2025 Caughnawana Fishing & Hunting Club FLY-IN Event is June 20 & 21!

The 2025 edition of the Caughnawana FLY-IN will be held June 20th and 21st at the Caughnawana Fishing & Hunting Club. Please arrive at the lake between 15:00 and 16:30 on Friday, June 20th in order to have time to have your aircraft securely tied up and accommodations organized. The evening cocktail party starts at 17:00 in the main clubhouse followed by dinner at 19:00. After dinner we will go on a tour of the aircraft that will be parked at different locations around the lake. Coffee will be served at 07:00 Saturday morning followed by a buffet brunch at 10:00. You can depart anytime you like on Saturday morning or hang around and get to know the Caughnawana Fishing & Hunting Club.

There is no cost to attend this event however we do ask for a $100 donation to our fish stocking program.

This is a fun event where you will get to meet fellow float plane pilots and exchange ideas & stories about your float plane flying. We look forward to seeing you!

1st Annual Managers One Day Fishing Derby

To be held Saturday, September 13, 2025 on Lac Caughnawana with funds raised going towards club initiatives like cabin improvements, boat & motor maintenance, etc.   Kick off the day with a full breakfast buffet served in the clubhouse, followed by a three course dinner and awards ceremony at the conclusion of the days fishing.  Awards presented for the biggest fish and total accumulated weight of fish caught.  Participants will compete in teams of two anglers and members are encouraged to invite guests (ideally future candidates to join Caugh), to be their derby partners.  There will be a 50/50 draw and we are asking members to contribute items to the silent auction table.  50/50 tickets can be purchased by all members whether participating or not.  And silent auction items can also be donated by non participating members who still want to contribute to the event.

Entry Fees include breakfast and dinner:

Member/Member Team:  $350

Member/Guest Team:  $275

Breakfast Buffet:  6am

Tournament Time:  7am-4pm

Dinner/Awards in Clubhouse:  6pm
